The Young Adult Add-On extends your Offscript Collective membership to a young adult in your family, ages 19 to 25. It's built for the in-between years, old enough to manage their own health, young enough that the foundation they build now will compound for the next forty.

What's included

Their own practitioner consults Each young adult gets one annual long session for results and recommendations (about 45–60 min), plus two follow-up check-ins (20–30 min) as their protocol evolves. Time scoped to where they actually are, building a base, not managing decades of accumulated stuff.

Their own private portal access Separate login, separate secure messaging, separate assessments. Their conversations with the practitioner team are fully private to them, parents do not have visibility into messaging, labs, or notes, even though the membership is paid through the parent account. 

We do this because a 19-to-25-year-old needs to be able to ask their practitioner real questions: about their cycle, their gut, their mental health, their sleep, their habits, without filtering for who else might read it. That's the only way the work is honest, and honest is the only way it works.

Why this matters at this age

The years between 19 and 25 are when most of the patterns get set: sleep, nutrition, stress response, hormonal rhythms, gut health, the whole foundation. Most young adults are also leaving home, starting careers, ending or starting serious relationships, and rebuilding their lives every year or two. It's a season where almost no one has a real practitioner relationship, they have a busy student health center, a new doctor every move, or nothing at all.

Building a foundation now means fewer things to rebuild later. That's the whole pitch. Not promises about outcomes, just access to real practitioner guidance during the years it's hardest to get.

How it works

1. Start with a Core Membership. The Young Adult Add-On is added to an existing Offscript Collective membership, it's not a standalone product. The membership and add-on are billed together to the primary member.
2. Add the young adult. Purchase the add-on, and we'll set up their own portal account, schedule their first consult, and onboard them directly. After onboarding, the practitioner relationship is theirs.
3. Step back. This is the part that's worth saying clearly: once the young adult is onboarded, communication runs between them and the practitioner team, not through the parent. Parents are welcome to ask their own practitioner about general approaches, but specific questions about a young adult's labs, protocols, or conversations stay private to that young adult.

A note for parents

We know paying for something you can't see into requires trust, both in us and in your young adult. Most parents who add this on tell us afterward that the privacy was actually the point: their young adult engaged in a way they wouldn't have if mom or dad was reading the messages. The investment isn't in oversight; it's in giving them a real practitioner of their own at a stage of life when most of their peers don't have one.

If your young adult would prefer to manage their own membership entirely, they're welcome to start their own Core Membership instead.

Cancellation

The Young Adult Add-On follows the same 6-month commitment as the Core Membership. After the initial 6 months, it continues month-to-month and you can cancel the add-on anytime through your account or by emailing us, cancellation stops the next billing cycle. We don't refund prior months.

If you cancel the Core Membership, the Young Adult Add-On cancels with it (it can't continue on its own). If you'd like the young adult's care to continue independently after cancellation, they can transition to their own Core Membership without re-onboarding.

Next steps

After purchase, we'll process the young adult's setup within 2–3 business days. They'll receive a confirmation from wellnessoffscript@gmail.com (have them add us to their contacts) and a separate setup email from Practice Better, our telehealth platform, with their portal access. The practitioner team will reach out to them directly to schedule their first consult.
